Having Marilee at our wedding celebration was
special enough, but her involvement with the
wedding platter was much more than we expected.
We met before the big day to discuss colors and
designs - a brilliant collaboration, if I do say so
myself :)
She chose the perfect array of colors - colors
compliment our kitchen to a tee. Not only did she
create a beautiful piece of functional art for our
home, but a lasting, tangible memory of our very
special day.
We love having our family and friends over only to
point out a colored square claiming "that one is
mine" or "I know I put that red square there". We
can't thank Marilee enough for our wonderful gift!
You'd be silly not to want one as part of your
reception.

I wanted to do something different for my
daughter-in-law's baby shower - not just the same,
tired old shower games. I talked to Marilee and
she recommended a glass art project as an activity.
Not only would each guest at the shower make a
glass pendant to take home for themselves, but they
would participate in creating a customized night
light for the baby's room. How much fun we all
had! We received so many compliments from
guests saying it was the best time they'd ever had at
a baby shower. And my daughter-in-law and new
grandson now have a very special keepsake from
that day, made by the very special people in their
lives.

Marilee-I cannot tell you how thrilled my parents
were to have the finished plate that WE all made for
my father's 80th Birthday party! Not only is the
plate a true piece of art, my mom uses it for hor
dourves every chance she gets so everyone can
admire it.
It means so much to me to see my nieces come in
and point to all the glass pieces that they put on the
plate. They get such a big kick out of it.

I was so EXCITED when I was told that at my
reception there would be a special glass art project
that all my guests would help me create. This was
given to me as a gift.
Kirk and I met with Marilee prior to the event and
she explained the process. She showed us all of our
style, color options and the extensive types of glass
pieces we could use to create our platter. WOW! I
never realized all the neat glass available. We had
so much fun watching our guests help us design the
platter. When I look at it, I can remember who
placed specific pieces and it makes me think of
them. All the smiles, love and laughter we shared
that day are fused forever in a platter that I see
everyday. This is the most unique gift I have ever
received and it will be displayed in our home
forever!
